Aaron Masters is a board‑certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP‑BC) licensed in New York, providing independent primary care for adults and families both in person and through telehealth.
What We Do
Aaron Masters, Family Health Nurse Practitioner, PLLC is a faith-based (Christian), direct-pay primary care service in Yorkshire, New York. We offer comprehensive, personalized care that respects both your physical and spiritual well-being.
This practice is intended to be available for patients who are in-between insurance (we try to keep things very affordable), need primary care services quickly (follow up labs, new medication prescription), or just simply need a PCP.

Longitudinal Primary Care
Chronic disease management including diabetes, hypertension, thyroid disease, anxiety, and depression. We build long-term care plans, monitor progress, and adjust treatment to fit your lifestyle and goals.Preventive Health

Timely evaluation and treatment for infections, minor injuries, and other urgent concerns.
We do NOT accept insurance, but we can provide superbills, which are itemized and coded receipts that you can submit to your insurance company for a partial reimbursement. However, acceptance of superbills depends upon your insurance carrier.

Yes! You will just have to fill out our intake form, but you can absolutely pay for a single visit even if we have never seen you before.

About 80-90% of a medical diagnosis comes from a detailed history—listening to your story, asking the right questions, and understanding your symptoms. For the physical exam, I use high-definition video to visually assess you, and I may guide you to perform certain checks yourself (like taking your blood pressure or checking your pulse). If I ever feel that a physical hands-on exam is necessary for your safety—like for severe abdominal pain or a breathing issue—I will tell you immediately and direct you to the appropriate in-person care. But for managing chronic conditions like diabetes, high blood pressure, or thyroid issues, as well as many acute infections, virtual care is safe, effective, and clinically proven.

Patients often tell me they cannot reach their primary care provider and end up in the emergency room or urgent care for issues that could have been handled with a simple message.
What the portal is for
As a direct pay practice, I keep a smaller patient panel so that I can be more available to you.
You can send portal messages with questions or concerns, and I will respond personally.
When to use messaging
If you are unsure whether something needs a visit, you can message me through the portal and I will let you know the best next step.
For straightforward needs (for example, a routine medication refill or a brief question), I can often address it directly through portal messaging.
Who can use the portal
Portal access and messaging are available only to active subscribers of the practice.

I chose not to accept insurance so that I can work directly for you, not for a billing code.
The insurance system artificially inflates the cost of healthcare. In the current system, up to 30% of your healthcare dollar goes to administrative waste—paying for coders, billers, and insurance bureaucrats rather than your actual care. Providers often have to inflate their prices to play this 'reimbursement game,' making healthcare confusing and expensive.
By opting out of this broken system, I strip away those inflated costs. A visit that might be billed to insurance at $300+ to cover administrative overhead costs you just $115 here. You pay for my time and expertise, not for the bureaucracy.

I currently practice full-time in a local Urgent Care and copastor a local church. This private practice is my side project—built to offer the kind of thorough and relationship-based care that isn't possible in a busy urgent care setting.
Because of this, I currently see patients during evenings and on my days off. For many of my patients, these 'off-hours' are actually a huge benefit, allowing them to see a provider without missing work. As this practice grows, I plan to transition to full-time hours and open a physical location here in Western New York to serve you even better.

Once there, click on whichever service you are looking for (do you need antibiotics? Are you looking to establish primary care through us?).
You will be automatically directed to our scheduling calendar where you can choose a time that works for you.
Aaron will receive your request and send you the intake forms and the link to the telehealth visit.
During your visit, Aaron will introduce himself, ask you for your name and DOB, and whether or not you are currently in New York State.
After this, you will proceed with the visit and a personalized plan will be established.
Any prescriptions will be sent to your pharmacy, lab or imaging requisitions will be sent to you through your portal or via email, and a visit summary will be sent to you through the portal or email.
